Reasons for Becoming a Member

There are a variety of ways that Project Studios provides work space for artists and other creatives: Private Studios, Semi-private Studios, and Memberships. At this time, there are two monthly membership options. Here are some details and reasons for becoming a member.

The New Collective is an initiative at the R. Neumann and Company leather goods factory in Hoboken New Jersey, utilizing spaces and equipment housed within Project Studios, including the ceramics, photography, printmaking, spray booth, and wood studios, as well as gallery wall space, and an open-floor plan multi-purpose art studio space.

The collective intends to raise the career profiles of its members by providing opportunities to both create and exhibit new works. Members have access to most of the spaces at any time day or night, using entry codes. This is the best value for individuals who want to have an equipped place to work, but don’t need a private studio. Individuals who do rent private or semi-private studios are also granted membership in The New Collective.

The New Collective Membership: $250.00 per month

The Clay Studio also operates on a monthly membership plan which grants unlimited access to the Clay Studio and use of all the studio’s tools. It also includes basic bisque and glaze firing on our regular schedule. Special or extra firing, Raku firing, clay, glaze, and other materials carry extra fees. All members get one shelf for storage with plenty of additional shelves for drying finished pieces and loading and unloading of fired items.

Clay Studio Membership: $150.00 per month

The Clay Studio Membership grants 24/7 access to our Clay Studio on the ground floor of Building A at 66 Willow Ave. immediately behind PROTO Gallery.
