Digital and Analog Printmaking Workspace

We have a small printmaking area in our Third Floor Suite (H3) at Neumann Leathers in Hoboken. The main tool in the shop is a Martek intaglio press with a 28 in. roller, however the studio is equipped to integrate digital and analog printmaking media. Our intaglio press can be used with copper and zinc plates for etching, drypoint, and engraving as well as acrylic sheets for monotype, or wood or linoleum block processes.

The studio is vented well enough to use oil-based inks, however acid etching must be performed in our 2nd Floor Spray Booth. Acids are not allowed in the Printmaking area. Cleanup of plates inked with oil-based media must be cleaned in the second floor as well.
