Project Studios is pleased to announce that we are now offering courses in glass fusing and slumping, otherwise known as warm glass, at our Jersey City location. Classes are held in our Warm Glass Workspace, equipped with dedicated kilns and professional cutting and cold working tools.
KNOW THE SCORE: GLASS VS COLOR
This two-day course introduces the fundamentals of the kiln-formed glass process. Students will choose from our large inventory of Bullseye sheet glass, rods, cane, and powder to create colorful compositions and then fuse them in the kiln.
The class is held in our Warm Glass Workspace at Project Studios Jersey City, equipped with dedicated kilns and professional cutting and cold working tools.
No prior experience is required.

Whether you’re interested in creating functional tableware or exploring glass as an artistic medium, this class will give you a foundation in the kiln-forming process. You will learn how to cold-work glass, how glass behaves in the kiln, why annealing matters, and how temperature impacts results, while creating a set of glass plates of your own design during two class sessions.
